Recentely, the first edition of “Over the Rainbow” project successfully ended. Pilot project for facilitate the matching between young foreigners and italians, carrying out a community service, as part of a wider educational project.
In order to achieve such an ambitious goal a real cycle of activity was set up, by involving young people aged between 18 and 26 years (italian students from “I.I.S. Curie-Levi” and migrants from Morocco, Congo and Pakistan).
Through planned activities skills such as creativity, rationality, planning and relationship skills were highlighted in the belief that they could be usefull to build a new future.
An important topic was how to develop an idea in order to turn it into a project (a real business).
The class was divided in groups in which there was also a migrant: they had to imagine a start-up (based on business activity in Italy) that could promote a real strenght of migrant’s country of origin.

– Temporary Show Room to promote Moroccans’ craft trades
– Cricket sport club
– Association to promote Maghrebi’s culture
