Project: “Over The Rainbow”
It is intended to propose, as part of the project “Alternanza Scuola Lavoro (A.S.L.)”, an internship as an opportunity for cultural exchange and transfer of life experiences between international protection applicants and Italian students.
The project, which for its characteristics and for the topics covered, is to be regarded as a pilot, is proposed to:
- Seize the opportunity of socially useful jobs to create the conditions for meetings between young international protection applicants and Italian students in order to lay the foundations for mutual knowledge.
- Involve, through the proposal of an internship of about one month, young international protection applicants and Italian students, in a training course and integration-oriented experiences.
- Make use of the opportunity offered by the “Alternanza Scuola Lavoro” legislation to introduce interns both Italians and foreigners in the complexities and/or relational opportunities introduced into the work world by multi-ethnicity.
- Create playful and meeting opportunities to facilitate the exchange of experiences of life and culture in the belief that if you know you can deal with relational difficulties more rationally.
